From Russia with Love - A Tale of A Million Snowflakes

Our Canadian Freestyle Ski Team recently embarked on a mission to Russia to familiarize ourselves with the site and conditions of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. The mogul venue will be held on the newly constructed resort of Rosa Khutar, so the organizing committee invited international teams to participate in a Europa Cup as an Olympic test event for the site.

Donating my Olympic skis

I recently donated my 2010 Olympic Games-worn skis to the Canadian Olympic Committee for their auction at the Gold Medal Plates (Canadian Culinary Championships) in Kelowna. The winning bidder took the skis home to his two daughters with this story to accompany the skis.

Spring Growth

Many people ask me what I do in my spare time when I am not skiing. Well, that is a weighted question these days with many ways to answer. This spring has presented many changes, challenges and inspiration. I have been incredibly busy with a multitude of different endeavors, including starting up a new business, speaking to schools, taking my Yoga Teacher Training course, planning my Olympic cycle, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Its a wrap

Breakthrough Podium in Ruka
